2021 Jeep Compass Trim Levels
During your search, you found that the 2021 Jeep Compass perfectly suits your needs, but which one out of four trim levels and three special editions wins? For Walled Lake, West Bloomfield, and Commerce Township, Michigan, drivers, you need a quick trim rundown. LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Walled Lake does that right here, so review, select, and then come to our showroom.
Among the trim levels, you’ll find standard ones like the Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. Special editions such as Freedom, Altitude, and 80th Anniversary can also be chosen.
Step Inside the Compass
Inside the Compass, the different trims offer individual furnishings. If you want cloth seating, pick the Sport trim. For a cloth and vinyl combo, the Latitude has it. If you’re searching for more upscale choices, the Trailhawk comes with a premium cloth and leather combo or provides you with optional leather trim.
Every trim offers 6-way manual front seats, but the Limited and Trailhawk give you available 8-way power adjustable front seats. If you like heated seats, add them to the Sport, Latitude, and Trailhawk trims, and enjoy them standard in the Limited. To get ventilated front seats, only the Limited and Trailhawk trims offer optional ones.
Accent your cabin with a deluxe leather-trimmed steering wheel, which can be found in the Latitude through Trailhawk trims and added to the Sport trim. If a heated steering wheel appeals to you, it’s available in the Sport, Latitude, and Trailhawk trims and standard in the Limited.
Jeep drivers who want the dual-pane panoramic sunroof can get this installed in the Latitude through Trailhawk trims.
All trims include a 6-speaker audio system, but you can upgrade to the nine-speaker Alpine® Premium Audio System in the Latitude through Trailhawk. Three different displays take up space on your dashboard.
The Sport and Latitude trims feature the 7-inch Uconnect® 4 display while the Limited and Trailhawk provides you with the 8.4-inch Uconnect® 4 display. You can also upgrade to the same size display with Uconnect® 4C NAV in these two trims.
Behind the wheel of the Sport and Latitude trims, a 3.5-inch Driver Information Display resides in the console. If you want the larger 7-inch display, it appears in the Limited and Trailhawk trims and is available in the Latitude.
Available Safety Systems
A ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera appears in each trim, and several advanced driver-assistance systems can either be added to the Latitude or come standard for the Limited and Trailhawk trims. These include:
- Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go
- Blind Spot Monitoring
- Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking
You’ll also be able to opt for:
- LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist
- ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System
- Rear Cross Path Detection
Any of these devices upgrade every Compass drive whether you go out for groceries or off-road in your spare time.
From the standard 2.4L Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine equipped with FWD, you’ll achieve an EPA-estimated 22 city/31 highway MPG in the Sport through Limited trims. If you prefer 4×4 capability, the Compass will achieve an EPA-estimated 22 city/30 highway MPG in all trims.
To customize your drive, the Sport through Limited trims provides you with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Trailhawk uses a 9-speed automatic transmission and the exclusive Selec-Terrain® Management System with diverse driving modes.
