Jeep Grand Cherokee Trim Levels
Grand Cherokee Amenities
Depending on your preferences, your Grand Cherokee can look and feel the way you want it to. Cloth bucket seats come in the Laredo E, but you’ll sit on black suede in the Laredo X. If you like leather seating, the Limited through Trackhawk® trims provide multiple designs and styles. Match the seating with a leather-wrapped steering wheel for the Laredo E up to Trailhawk® trims.
For wild weather days, whether cold or hot, the seating can relieve you of either. From the Limited to the Trackhawk®, heated front seats come standard, while the Laredo E offers them as an available feature. In the back, you’ll get heated seats with the Trailhawk® to the Trackhawk®. Every trim offers the heated steering wheel, except for the Laredo E, which offers it as an available feature.
If you want the cool of the ventilated front seats, they’re available in the Limited and standard in the Trailhawk® through Trackhawk® trims. The power sunroof takes residence in the Limited through Trailhawk® trims, while it’s an available option for the Laredo E. A grander display comes with the Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, available in the Limited, Trailhawk®, SRT®, and Trackhawk®. Overland and Summit trims give this to you standard.
Grand Cherokee Technology
Nearly every trim provides you with the 8.4-inch Uconnect® 4C NAV touchscreen, but the Laredo E offers the 7.0-inch Uconnect® 4 display. Start out with 6 speakers in the Laredo E through Limited trims. Then move up to the 9-speaker premium Alpine® sound system for the Trailhawk®, Overland, SRT®, and Trackhawk® trims.
To accent your Jeep with the 19-speaker Harman Kardon® Premium Audio System, drive the Summit or add it to the Overland through Trackhawk® trims. Back seat passengers in the Limited through Trackhawk® trims can enjoy the available Blu-Ray Compatible Screen Video and the Rear Seat Video System.
Grand Cherokee Safety
While many safety systems like Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection come standard, others depend on what trim you choose. Like ParkSense® Rear Park Assist, which appears in the Laredo E through Overland trims. If you want Lane Departure Warning Plus, select it for the Laredo E through Overland trims, but it comes standard in the Summit through Trackhawk® trims.
Both Parallel and Perpendicular Park-Assist with Stop and the Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go can be included for use with every trim except the Laredo E.
Grand Cherokee Performance
Most trims use the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine, which generates 293 horsepower with 260 lb-ft of torque. If you get the Trackhawk®, it uses the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine that generates an overwhelming 707 horsepower with 645 lb-ft of torque.
For the Trailhawk®, you can opt for the available 5.7L HEMI® engine. For those driving the SRT®, you’ll have a standard 6.4L V8 engine and be able to tow up to 7,200 pounds.
