2021 Jeep Renegade Trim Levels
Your car search does not end when you find the 2021 Jeep Renegade around Walled Lake, West Bloomfield, and Commerce Township, Michigan. It’s just beginning with your selection of one of the multiple trim levels. LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Walled Lake developed this guide, so you can match up with the right trim.
Although drivers may like one of the limited-edition trims, like the Jeepster, Upland, 80th Anniversary, Islander, or Freedom, we’ll discuss the standard trims, including the Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk.
Add to Your Interior
Several options can personalize your Renegade—you just need to know which trim carries the feature. In the Sport and Latitude trims, you’ll sit in a 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat. The Limited and Trailhawk trims offer an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, equipped with heat, which is also an option for the Latitude trim.
For furnishings, the Sport trim comes with cloth seats, but the Latitude and Trailhawk trims get premium cloth seats. Exclusive to the Limited trim, you’ll enjoy leather-trimmed seats, but the Trailhawk trim gives you available premium leather trim.
To match your steering wheel, you may want either the Latitude or Limited trims. They offer a premium wrapping or leather wrapping, respectively. Heat can be added to the steering wheel of the Latitude trim and comes standard in the Limited and Trailhawk trims.
For easy access to your Renegade space, you’ll want to go with the Limited and Trailhawk trims for the Keyless Enter ’n Go™ passive entry system. This can be added to the Latitude trim.
While a 6-speaker sound system comes in every trim, you’ll need to add the Sun and Sound package to upgrade to the 9-speaker Kenwood Premium Audio System.
The controls for either system appear on the Uconnect® 4 with 7-inch Display in the Sport and Latitude trims, or the Uconnect® 4C NAV 8.4-inch display in the Limited and Trailhawk trims. You can, however, add the latter system to the Latitude trim.
To monitor your Jeep operations, such as speed, gas, and more, the Sport trim provides you with a 3.5-inch display. With the other trims, you upgrade to the 7-inch display.
You’re enabled to choose one of two different engines in the Renegade, depending on your needs. The Sport and Latitude trims derive power from the 2.4L Tigershark® engine, while the Limited and Trailhawk trims rely on the 1.3L 4-cylinder turbo engine. Guess we can understand why the Latitude trim is named as it is. You’re given latitude to select either engine.
Depending on your engine selection and drivetrain, you’ll be able to achieve a range of different gas efficiencies. With the 1.3L engine, the Renegade achieves an EPA-estimated 24 city/32 highway MPG. If you stick with the 2.4L engine and front-wheel drive (FWD), the Latitude Jeep Renegade trim achieves an EPA-estimated 22 city/30 highway MPG.
For 4×4-configured Jeeps, the Sport and Latitude trims achieve an EPA-estimated 21 city/29 highway MPG. Next up, the Limited trim achieves an EPA-estimated 23 city/29 highway MPG. Finally, in the Trailhawk trim, your Jeep achieves an EPA-estimated 22 city/27 highway MPG.
