2021 Jeep Compass vs 2021 Nissan Rogue
Jeep Compass vs Nissan Rogue: Trim Levels
For more variety in trim levels, the Jeep Compass provides four trims: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. Plus, you can choose between three different limited editions: Freedom, Altitude, and 80th Anniversary. If the Nissan Rogue appeals to you, S, SV, SL, and Platinum trims are available.
Jeep Compass vs Nissan Rogue: Interior
Front seats in the Compass provide available ventilation, while the Nissan does not feature this upgrade. To start, the Jeep provides you with six speakers to listen to music, sports, and news. The Nissan starts out at four speakers, so there will be a noticeable difference in audio quality.
To accommodate both you and your passengers in your Jeep, you can add the available 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot with room for eight devices. Although you get the same capability with the Nissan, it only allows for seven devices to connect at once.
Jeep Compass vs Nissan Rogue: Safety
For the winter weather in Southeast Michigan, you’d be well served by the Jeep Compass. It gives you standard exterior heated mirrors, available rain-sensing windshield wipers, and the optional windshield wiper de-icer to keep up with volatile weather. While the Nissan does offer available heated outside mirrors, you won’t find either rain-sensing windshield wipers or a de-icer.
Jeep Compass vs Nissan Rogue: Performance
If you’re hoping to tackle terrain, you may prefer the Jeep Compass. It offers available 4-wheel drive capability and 4×4 systems, like the Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 System. If you plan to tow a trailer, the Compass comes with a 2,000-pound towing capacity when properly equipped.
You can also use the optional and class-exclusive Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System that features four standard modes: Auto, Snow, Sand, and Mud. With the Trailhawk trim, it also includes Rock mode.
The Nissan does offer available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and five driving modes. They are Sport, Off-Road, Snow, Auto, and Eco, which personalize your drive but are no match for seriously tough surfaces. Unfortunately, it does not come with any real towing capability.
